Pictures
Well I have tried three times today to get the pictures uploaded and there is some error. Sorry - I will keep trying...
Youth Group Activities
Hey - wanted to share with you some pictures from February of our youth events. The youth hosted a Valentine's Banquet with the theme: Partners for Life. It was a ton of fun and the youth did a great job of decorating, serving, cleaning up, etc. The other event was our winter retreat at Hesperus Baptist Camp. We took 7 youth and had a GREAT time. The youth are all great kids and very teachable.

Mini Update
I am seriously hoping to update my pictures this week! No we aren't still buried in snow although there is still snow on the ground. Now we are entering into our "mud season" and it looks as though it will be a MESSY one with all the snow melting and all. However - we are thankful that we will not have to worry about drout this summer hopefully.
Things are going pretty well here. Joel is busy getting all the spring and summer youth events scheduled as well as gearing up for his first on-line course that will start March 17. I am busy with work, kids and church as well. I am enjoying getting involved in Women's Ministry since that is something some what new to me. The kids are all doing good - Hannah will compete in her Destination Imagination Competition this weekend. She is both excited and nervous. All the kids are building their Pine Wood Derby cars for the Awana race in a week.
So - that's all for now. I will try to get some pictures up tonight or maybe tomorrow.

History has been made!
Okay - well for those of you that aren't from around Bayfield/Pagosa this isn't a big deal but for those that are.....Bayfield Basketball teams have successfully beat Pagosa twice this season!!! Let me tell you that as a graduate of Pagosa this has been TOUGH. I mean here I live in Bayfield and work with Bayfield teens but then, Pagosa is just my home town and I LOVE high school basketball.
So - sorry to the Pagosa folks but I guess it was Bayfield's turn to shine for a little while. Like I told one of the Pagosa girls last night that we are still friends with - "There's always next year!"

Guess What? Yes - more snow AGAIN for us.
I am just in awe as I look outside any window in my home and all I see is WHITE snow. Starting Friday night and continuing through this morning we had another MAJOR snow storm hit our community. We have about another 23 in of NEW snow bringing the total accumulation in our yard to about 4 feet.
Last night coming home after the Super Bowl we got stuck THREE times in our neighborhood - it was nuts! Then when we finally made it to our drive way we had to shovel, got stuck again, and shoveled some more. Joel spent all morning and a good part of the afternoon just shoveling the driveway and walkway to our house. I got the lovely job of clearing of the trampoline (the one everyone said would be fine because winters are mild!) It took me about an hour to get all the snow off of it!
However - in spite of the inconveniences of shoveling and getting stuck we have really had a wonderful weekend. Saturday my Aunt, Uncle, Cousin and her daughter came out and we all trudged through the snow to go sledding! The best was watching my Dad go down the hill - it was great! Then Sunday our church had a wonderful service and potluck. Following that we went out to some friends house to watch the big game! We are so blessed to be in a church where there are families our age that we are building friendships with. Finally - because of the storm and snow we were officially SNOWED in today. Although I hated to miss work, it was great to get caught up on things around the house and to spend the day with my family.
By the way - today it has been 14 years since Joel and I started dating!!! How cool is that? Yes, I know that it may be cheesy to remember it but I do and each year I enjoy telling Joel how fun it is has been to date, get married, have kids and still date each other!
So - here are the pictures of the snow, sledding and Super Bowl party. The two babies are my two friends' girls that are about 3 months a part - Anna and Audry are just adorable!
