Tyler's Birthday Party
Crawdad Fishing #2!
Well - as promised here are some more crawdad fishing pictures. We have really enjoyed the time with our long time friends the Saul family. It is so special to have friends in your life that you grew up with and now our kids can have fun together too! What memories we are making... One of those memories we didn't catch on camera because I had went in the house but Kestra actually fell in the pond - OOOPS!

Crawdad Fishing....
So - another part of our wonderfully busy week - last Saturday night we went out to my parents home and met up with some long time friends and their kids for some good ole crawdad fishing! A few of the pictures got deleted mysteriously from the camera but here are some. The good news is that we all had so much fun that we are going again tomorrow night and so I will once again have the opportunity for pictures. Tyler is excited - he thinks we are going crawdad fishing for his birthday...we won't tell him any different!

One Busy Week!
Whew! Last week was so much fun and so good, but so busy!!! Our church had Vacation Bible School each evening from 6-8. Joel was the director and I taught the preschool class (which ended up being the biggest class~20!)
Joel of course was his usual self with the funny costumes and hilarious accent! The kids loved it. We also had a mission team here from Missouri. They not only helped with our VBS but they also helped run block parties throughout our community all week. It was a privelage to get to know them and work with them. Here is a video of the week! It is really good.
This past weekend my best friend in the whole world came to visit. Although she was only here for one night and half a day it was so special to get to see her. Sharon and I have been friends for 16 years!!! I met her my freshman year of college and we have been close ever since. She has been there for me through so much ~ loss of my sister, loss of another close friend, boyfriends, weddings and birth of children! In fact, her son Caleb was born the day before Kestra and we talked with each other on the phone from seperate hospitals! How cool is that? Unfortunately, due to technology beyond my control we lost the pictures - but we had a great visit!

T-Ball Tyler
So - Malachi is off on baseball and Tyler is off on T-ball. He has only had a few games so far but he really likes it and he is most proud about having his very own "coach"! It is really hilarious, he tells everyone that he plays t-ball and has a coach. It has been fun to watch him grow up into a fun-loving little boy. We are so very proud of him and all that he has accomplished.
